Built in 1970, Puerto Banus is one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol. Known as a playground for the rich and famous, the port is home to births for the yachts of some of the world’s wealthiest people, including the King of Saudi Arabia.
Duquesa is one of the Costa del Sols lesser-known areas centred around a pretty marina. The town offers various amenities for tourists including; a Championship Golf course, fantastic shopping, promenades and the marina itself with is various shops, bars and restaurants.
Benalmadena is a popular tourist destination located between Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Benalmadena has a pretty prominade and marina and is also home to the Benalmadena Stupa(a structure important to Buddhism), the largest in Europe.
Calahonda is a tourist resort located between Marbella and Fuengirola. A great destination for golfers, Calahonda is close to several courses. There are also Tennis courts and opportunities to take part in various water sports.
